We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Inside and Outside sales teams and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the Steel Industry and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage accounts effectively while providing outstanding customer service while facilitating our company culture. As the Sales Manager for Intsel Steel you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing inside and outside sales efforts, and ensuring the team exceeds its sales targets.

 

Compensation; annual salary $80-100K

Responsibilities

 

Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals. Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the steel industry products. Manage key accounts and build strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that support sales initiatives. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth. Organize training sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills in technical sales and customer service. Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

Steel and Structural steel and sales and/or industrial sales are preferred.Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management.Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.Proven leadership and ability to drive sales and sales teams.Strong analytical & communication skills; written, oral and interpersonal.Basic mathematics and computer skills (Microsoft Office Products)Proven experience in steel sales or related fields, with a strong understanding of steel products and the industry. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Experience in account management, demonstrating the ability to maintain long-term client relationships. Proficiency in negotiating contracts and closing sales effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in previous roles is highly desirable.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University with 5+ years’ related work experience in sales management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
