General Responsibilities
The Sales Manager is responsible for the sales force team management, ensuring client retention and achievement of sales & revenue targets for PR, Caribbean, and LATAM markets.
General responsibilities are:
• Prospect, develop, up-sell, cross-sell, and generate new business opportunities with assigned accounts.
• Supervise the sales team to ensure contracts are executed according to specifications and coordinate between billing cycle and commission payout to sales account managers.
• Understand the design landscape of customers and position the benefits of EVTC business solutions by mapping solutions with customers' design requirements.
• Promote and engage Strategic Solutions with multiple contacts in assigned accounts.
• Respond to ongoing RFPs promptly and completely to achieve quarterly targets.
• Monitor all ongoing opportunities in assigned accounts and report progress weekly.
• Study market conditions and trends for assigned portfolios and recommend strategic changes to adapt to market conditions or technology changes.
• Ensure staff/group executes all key controls including SOX controls, responds to escalations or deviations, reports exceptions to internal controls, and documents employee violations.
Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.
Education and Experience Required
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least five to eight years of experience in sales management, business solutions, product development, business modeling, product forecasting, and analysis or related functions.
• Industry Experience: strongly preferred, particularly in selling technological solutions.
• Previous leadership experience at a Management level is required.
• Proven ability to handle multiple project aspects, foster interdepartmental cooperation, and ensure successful product collaboration.
• Experience managing key commercial relationships with major clients, preferably in a regional context.
• Previous experience in government auctions is required.
• Oral Communication (Spanish and English): demonstrate group presentation skills.
Written Communication (Spanish and English): edit work for spelling and grammar; present numerical data effectively.
• Technology or Banking experience is strongly preferred.

•Determine a product's feasibility based on company capabilities and budget parameters.
•Stay updated on market practices to assess the need for new product development, modification, or elimination based on ROI analysis.

•Establish and deepen customer relationships to explore cross-sell or incremental product opportunities.
•Maintain strong internal relationships and collaboration with stakeholders related to the product management process.
Customer and Personal Service:
•Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including needs assessment, quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation.
Analytical Skills:
•Focus: Stay focused on main issues and avoid distractions.
•Analytical: Collect, research, and synthesize complex information.
•Design: Demonstrate attention to detail and apply design principles.
•Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems promptly; develop alternative solutions.
Communication Skills:
•Oral Communication (Spanish and English): Speak clearly and persuasively; demonstrate group presentation skills.
•Written Communication (Spanish and English): Write clearly and informatively; edit work for spelling and grammar; present numerical data effectively.
Negotiation:
•Negotiate, persuade, and convince clients on the best solution alternatives.
•Reach consensus with all related parties to benefit both clients and internal departments.
Additional Information
Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 6:00PM
Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
