As one of the world’s largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership. **Summary** Manage the Regional Sales Manager - Automation Emerging Technology personnel in all aspects of dealer and branch advanced technology sales activities. The primary advanced technology liaison between the company and its dealers/branches within an assigned region. Is responsible for assisting in client prospecting, analyzing, and aiding field sales personnel in all aspects of advanced technology sales processes. This position requires strong communication skills, ability to qualify opportunities and position the company as the preferred technology solution. Assist corporate business development efforts by contributing to innovative ideas and testing new methods and processes with end users. T **Responsibilities** + Supervise and participate in the sales process for all dealer and branch advanced technology sales activities as the technology expert to favorably position company products and services. + Responsible for all related advanced technology sales activities including closing new business. + Complete sales calls with Regional Sales Manager – Automation Emerging Technology or with dealer and branch personnel directly, complete sales forecasts, conduct sales meetings, complete sales training and participate/lead quoting activities. + Contribute to business development and new technology sales processes by participating and testing new sales. materials, tools and processes. Will act as an active participant and contributor in the development of new technology, marketing plans, sales processes, and business development activities. + Perform duties such as creating/revising job descriptions, conducting Talent Development discussion sessions, rating performance, establishing/tracking goals and completing annual wage reviews. + Responsible for coaching, motivating, mentoring, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities. Responsible for the proper direction, skill development, training, professional development, and promotion of all direct reports as needed to keep pace with corporate business growth goals. + Conduct training meetings with branch and dealers to enable the successful promotion, sales execution including solution objectives, solution overview, value components and measures to decrease commercial sales manager dependencies while increasing technology solution revenues. + Conduct training sessions and will perform periodic follow-up with end users to ensure product performance, product reliability, the proper use of the technology solution and to ensure the solution is achieving the stated value goals. + Provide periodic sales report summaries related but not limited to key accounts, target accounts, sales pipeline, sales forecast, competitive environment, prospecting, sales activities and known market conditions. + Prepare sales forecasts and budgets. + Prepare written communication necessary for follow-up with end users and retailers. **Minimum Qualifications** + 5-7 years' related experience + Bachelor’s degree (Business, Sales, Marketing or Engineering) + Must have valid driving privileges + Extensive travel (over 20%) + Extensive overnight stays (over 20%) + Job requires employee to drive a lift truck + Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business > 20% per week (more than 8 hours) and an MVR is required **Preferred Qualifications** + Prior solution sales and sales management experience is strongly recommended. + Direct experience in business consulting, process development and product development. **Work Authorization:** Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
