Sales Manager End User DACH
The Sales Manager End User DACH is responsible for leading and managing a sales team within the DACH region. The team’s objective is to proactively engage with new customers, develop existing relationships, and re-engage lost accounts to improve orders and sales. The primary purpose of the position is to manage the activities of the team, implement initiatives and programs aligned with the MSOL DACH and product plans, and drive sales growth across the region. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Lead and coach a DACH sales team in performing their job responsibilities to achieve sales targets; + Take ownership of sales, bookings, and gross profit targets for the DACH region; + Negotiate business contracts with customers, ensuring alignment with agreed discount structures, price, volume, and terms & conditions. + Actively engage with customers to achieve personal and team sales targets, ensuring consistent follow-up; + Manage and develop the sales funnel and opportunities within CRM, ensuring alignment with team goals; + Drive account planning within the team, tracking progress closely to optimize performance; + Develop and implement strategies to engage with new customers, nurture existing customers, and re-engage lost accounts; + Organize the team’s activities to ensure optimal support for the team and business objectives; + Provide leadership to the team, ensuring smooth operations and the achievement of team goals; + Implement and track progress on PEP (Performance and Development) goals; + Collaborate with the local sales director, sales managers, PM & BDM team, and sales engineers & account managers for alignment on activities and strategies; + Perform other duties as required to support the team’s success. **Who You Are** You are a leader with a track record of effectively managing and mentoring sales teams. You have excellent people-management skills, an organized and self-motivated approach to achieving goals, and a deep understanding of business development and project pursuit. Your strong communication skills, fluency in German and English, and ability to manage cross-functional teams will allow you to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is highly desired; + 5+ years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of business development and project pursuit; + Proven ability to lead and manage a sales team with strong people-management skills; + Highly self-organized, goal-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities; + Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken; + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database tools like Access; + Ability to travel frequently to meet business needs; **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Strong knowledge of the MSOL market and experience managing sales teams in a technical or engineering environment; + Proven track record of developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement. **Our Offer to You** At Emerson, we are committed to fostering a culture where every employee is valued and respected for their unique experiences and perspectives.
