Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the rapidly evolving fields of IT, cybersecurity, marketing, and digital transformation. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, fostering a culture of excellence, and developing future leaders within the team. This individual will have a disciplined approach and experience mapping and navigating complex accounts within the IT, cybersecurity and digital transformation areas, at large. Ideally looking for someone who has sold into various personas, including those responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure and operations, cloud hosting, cybersecurity operations, and related areas. Using Training and Development to Fuel Impact’s Sales Engine Responsibilities Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. Provide strategic direction and guidance to drive revenue growth in alignment with company goals and objectives. Business Development: Using the Challenger sales methodology, identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the IT, cybersecurity, marketing, and digital transformation sectors while targeting our ideal customer profile. Ensure team members are fully equipped to deliver the message to c-level executives and stakeholders on the importance of partnering with Impact for their long-term business and technology needs. Experience selling multi-million-dollar contracts and conveying the value behind them. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive and senior management to develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with market trends and customer needs. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making. Team Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and excellence within the sales team. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development opportunities to empower team members to reach their full potential. Identify and nurture future leaders within the team. Thought Leadership: Stay informed about the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in IT, cybersecurity, marketing, AI and digital transformation. Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader within the organization, providing insights and guidance on critical business needs and industry trends. Performance Management: Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives and individual performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement. Sales Technology Stack: Ensure your sales team is using the technology stack at their disposal to build targeted and well thought out cadences and outreach strategies to fuel their pipeline. These technologies include but are not limited to Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), SalesLoft, 6sense, etc.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving company objectives. Foster a collaborative and cohesive working environment across departments. Things We Are Looking For MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience in the technology industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Deep understanding of IT, cybersecurity, AI and digital transformation landscapes, including key market trends, challenges, and opportunities. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies in a fast-paced and competitive environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving continuous improvement and excellence in performance.
