The Group Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel. The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts. The Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals for one or more properties. The focus of sales may vary based on the respective property the associate is assigned to (i.e. Leisure Business Travel Group SMERF). As a Group Sales Manager, you will focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives and personal booking goals.
Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.
OEM Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 Yearly (Overtime Eligible Manager)
Hourly Payrate: $30.36/hr to $34.41/hr

QUALIFICATIONS:
A post-secondary diploma or degree in a field of study related to this profession; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated selling skills; and proven achievements in selling, optimizing guest engagement and financial performanceMinimum of 2-3 years’ experience in group sales within the (i.e. IHG, Marriott, Hilton or Luxury) hospitality marketExceptional skills related to business acumen, time management, written and verbal communication, prioritization, attention to details, problem-solving, public presentations, follow-up and throughPrior experience with Tripleseat and HMS or similar Property Management System is preferredRESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals. Proactively conduct solicitation calls conduct sales tours and entertain clients specific to Leisure SMERF Business Travel (BT) and/or Groups as applicable by property. Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to Leisure SMERF Business Travel (BT) and/or Groups as applicable by property.
