We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join our Woundcare division working across our South West region.

You’ll be leading an experienced team focused on empowering them to achieve excellence in driving sales, nurturing relationships across the entire NHS hierarchy and implementing industry leading value added customer solutions.
You’ll make a significant contributions in the following area:
+ Developing a regional business plan in line with the national wound management strategy
+ Owning the high value customer negotiations with NHS Supply Chain etc
+ Achieving agreed regional targets and other key performance indicators
+ Strategic resource deployment to maximise sales efficiency and productivity
+ Supporting local Key Account Managers to deliver full business solutions
+ Contributing to national sales and marketing strategies as part of the leadership team
+ Developing and proposing business cases around regional business growth opportunities
+ Implementing a strong performance management system including regular PDP discussions
+ Fostering a culture which results in strong employee engagement

What you’ll need
+ Demonstrable experience in medical device sales – Essential
+ Understanding of the NHS framework – Essential
+ Previous experience of leading a successful and high performing team – Essential
+ Understanding of key account management methodology – Essential
+ Understanding of the Acute and Primary care sector, and multiple routes to market.
+ Formal management qualification – Desirable
+ Knowledge of the private healthcare market – Desirable
