The Sales Manager (Wedding Room Blocks) will support the sales efforts for Loews Hotels. Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Promote awareness to corporate and incentive markets via travel to respective regions in the country providing presentations and personal sales calls. Maintain communication/relationship with NSO network, as well as other Loews hotels toward achieving pre-determined revenue goal. Negotiate contract specifics to achieve maximum profitability while satisfying customer needs. Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
This primary responsibility of this position will be the wedding market for rooms.Develop and maintain an account base, as designated by ADOS and Director of Sales and Marketing, to achieve hotel revenue goals.Be responsible for and implement a sales action plan for the development of the designated market segments which includes telephone/direct mail solicitation, personal call program, related local sales calls, tradeshow participation and entertainment.Achieve quarterly and annual goals as designated by Director of Sales and MarketingRespond promptly to all inquiries and correspondence from clients, prospects and lead referrals.Respond promptly to requests by Assistant Director of Sales and Director of Sales and Marketing for reports and other assignments. Execute sales calls, local sales trips/tradeshows and entertainment as designated.Develop working relationship with hotel department head and operational areas.Supervise wedding sales coordinator and assist with growth and training opportunities.Proactively engage with new and existing clientele.Follow up on all assigned sales leads.Be knowledgeable of local and national competitive hotels and marketing strategies.Follow up with clients onsite, according to Loews standards.Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls and marketing actions as requested by Director of Sales and Marketing.Maintain efficient and time processing of paperwork, files and reportsSupportive Functions and Responsibilities
