Healthcare Referral Sales Liaison Job Responsibilities

Create and implement a marketing and sales plan to increase awareness of home care and medical staffing services for the assigned territory Seek, develop and participate in marketing opportunities in the community Develop and maintain strong business/referral relationships with local healthcare facilities and providers – case managers, discharge planners, social workers, nurses, physicians, insurance representatives, marketing staff, etc. – to generate sales and fill the referral pipeline for both private duty home care and medical staffing Meet or exceed established sales targets Expand market share by continually educating and engaging the community, staying up to date on industry trends and opportunities, promoting business services at industry networking events and health fairs Responsible for presenting directly to prospective clients, C-Level stakeholders, administrators, physicians, social workers and nursing staff on a variety of topics, including preventing re-hospitalizations, re-admission rates, patient outcomes and various services we offer Partner with our internal team, clinical staff, patients, and families to assess care needs for in-home medical and non-medical care – always ensuring we meet and exceed specific needs leading to positive outcomes Customer Touch Points to ensure standards are being met or exceeded

Healthcare Referral Sales Liason Job Requirements

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a sales and business development role Minimum of one (1) year experience in the medical staffing, home health care and/or senior care industry Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or communications Experience with public speaking (in addition to good presentation skills) Strong communication skills, including persuasive and educational writing and speaking Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and problem solving Demonstrate working knowledge of health care in home and institutional settings Comfortable with closing/asking for the business Exhibit outstanding organizational skills and a service attitude towards the community Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter attitude Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, staff and community Present a positive public image Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance Ability to pass drug, background and criminal record checks
