Job Description and Requirements
We are seeking a Forecast Analyst to join the Worldwide Sales Forecast Team. In this role you will support the WW sales forecast in two key areas: Weekly data validation/reporting and supporting forecast systems/tools.
Ensuring with Field Sales, IT/System Administrators you will ensure tools are configured correctly to deliver our weekly sales forecast. This role will also drive change management in support of new business initiatives, acquisitions, and as part of our annual planning process. We are transforming the forecast process at Synopsys, a collaborative approach and willingness to embrace change are highly desirable. Experience supporting a complex Enterprise B2B sales team, and an understanding of pipeline management and forecasting practices will be key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Maintain system infrastructure including product mapping tables, reporting hierarchies in Salesforce.com, SAP, and ClariEnsure forecasting tools meet requirements of Sales, Operations, Finance, and Business teams.Coordinate the design, test, and deployment of Saleforce.com feature enhancementsProvide SFDC user training. Serve as an escalation point to troubleshoot forecast system issues when they arise. Support order close / validation processes between SAP and Salesforce.com.Create and distribute weekly pipeline analysis and reportingCreate and maintain Salesfore.com report templates and dashboards
Qualifications
Experience supporting Enterprise B2B Sales and/or order management processes1-2 years’ experience working on cross functional projects in Technology or similar industryExtreme attention to detailExpert user of Microsoft ExcelExperienced user of Saleforce.com. Familiar with permission, security, data access models, reporting hierarchy, account, and opportunity management best practicesFamiliarity with Software, Hardware, and SAAS revenue recognition principles
Desired Experience, Skills
Experience using Salesforce.com, Admin certification preferredExperience with Salesforce.com quoting and forecasting toolsExperience in technology or similar industrySAP experience a plusBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science or related field
