Position Summary

The Sales Force Effectiveness Specialist will support the overall execution & effectiveness of key sales execution strategies for the Microbiology Division in North America. The role plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by having a clear vision on how the function contributes to revenue performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving, training, and adopting tools & processes. They will have a strong ability to identify opportunities for growth and a passion for understanding, developing, improving, and streamlining sales data and processes to effectively guide teams in setting and driving sales strategies.

What will you do?

Use standard methodologies, new tools & technologies to improve sales team success (e.g. opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, digital marketing data, CRM optimization)Partner strongly with Sales Operations & Sales Training teams to deliver best in class sales enablement experience for our sales teamsOngoing maintenance of master sales playbook ‘The Code’Work with Group IT resources understand how we can optimize sales force effectiveness through tool & process enhancementsDesign, build & roll out dashboards to track sales force effectiveness strategies & tool utilizationSet up regular operation mechanisms with sales teams to drive utilization & compliance tracking of KPIsMaintain commercial operations bowler to measure revenue generation & efficiencies created by the functionAct as a triage for sales requests & ensue that they are routed to the correct resource & followed up on within SLAsHave responsibility for the North America sales team with dotted line into Lead Specialist to ensure consistency of approach globally.

HS Diploma/GED requiredBachelor’s degree in business/IT/Analytics or other related field preferred5yrs + relevant experienceField or inside sales experience is an advantageIn depth working knowledge of Salesforce.comExcellent analytical skills supported by a strong attention to detailProficient in MS Excel & PowerPointSeasoned communicator comfortable with presenting to large groups F2F & virtually

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong commercial orientation with a passion to understand, develop, improve, and streamline sales tools to better guide sales teams in setting selling strategies.Working knowledge of AI/Data Science Application in a sales environmentIn depth practical experience of process improvementAble to analyze and interpret data elements and make recommendations for change/improvement.A great teammate with a bias for action and driving projects to fruition.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including Sales & Functional leaders at all levels as well as subject matter experts and end-users.Ability to travel up to 25%
