Sales Operations Associate

Job Description
The Sales Operations Associate will play a crucial role in forecasting and generating sales for a manufacturing company. This team supports the outside sales team by entering customer sales into the system and generating reports to analyze trends and expand sales. They will work with new business, distributors, BBMs, OEMs, and end-user service agents. Using an ERP system, they will input orders, manage and create accounts, generate reports, review historical data to understand customer trends, and monitor inventory. They will also use Excel to generate and enhance reports from the ERP system. These reports are essential for locating the right data, understanding their implications, and identifying customer trends. Proficiency in data manipulation and document creation is beneficial. In the CRM, they will set up accounts for sales terms and credit charges. As they streamline operations processes, they will have more opportunities to initiate cold calls, expanding on current users or 'warm leads' and potentially generating new business in collaboration with the outside sales team. Additionally, they will interact with the production team, meeting daily to communicate needs to the production floor.

- Experience working in an ERP system
- Experience speaking with customers
- Experience working with a CRM
- Proficient in Excel and reporting - Manufacturing experience
