Do you get a kick out of helping people? We’re looking for an International Sales Operations Coordinator who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys variety in their job, to join the team on a 15-month Fixed Term basis (end date May 2026).
The opportunity: Sales Operations are involved in supporting the entire sales process from new title sell-in preparation to supplying to the end customer. This means working closely with internal and external stakeholders, helping to ensure that orders reach customers at the right place, the right price and at the right time.
In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for helping to ensure the smooth-running of the International Sales Operations team. You’ll work across all our publishing lists – everything from fiction to non-fiction, by way of cookery, poetry and children’s – playing a key part in getting our stories into our customers’ hands. Tasks can vary from ensuring an order reaches Brazil in time for an event, to exploring supply options with our global PRH Group companies.
Primarily, responsibilities will include:
Managing orders from our retail customers across the world Checking data such as stock availability and delivery dates Collaborating with colleagues in different departments, particularly Customer Services and Inventory to help deliver the best possible service to our customers Managing the process of orders in SAP (one of our internal systems) whilst ensuring work is complete within deadlines and publication schedules Producing reports in Excel and checking customer claims Carrying out other ad hoc team support when required.
What you’ll bring: To succeed in the Coordinator role, you’ll need to be organised, proactive, and have great time management skills. You’ll be working with customers as well as a range of colleagues in this role, so being a clear communicator and being friendly and helpful will mean that you’re able to go the extra mile. We’re also looking for someone who is attentive to detail and able to balance urgent priorities alongside regular tasks. Being able to successfully manage deadlines will be key.
You’ll be working with a variety of different systems, so while we’ll be happy to introduce you to our world and provide training, you’ll show us that you’re comfortable with technology and keen to learn. You will need to have worked with MS Office before; strong Excel skills, are desirable for this role.
