Sales Operations Internship-Forest Products Location: Fort Wayne, IN Level: Intern Division / Department: Lumber & Building Materials Reporting to position: Director of LBM Operations Summer 2025 - 90 day internship About the Role: The Sales Operations and Analytics Intern’s primary focus will be on exposing you to a life in corporate sales and purchasing through real-life experience and relevant projects. Responsibilities include: + Participate in product line reviews with our Millwork and Interior Solutions Division + Conduct retail pricing analysis for core LBM products and create plan to communicate it to our membership + Create a customer profile for Forest Products that drives consistency and delivers a report that can be reviewed with a member + Support sales representatives with day to day functions Education and Experience: + Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, or related field + Must be highly organized, driven and ability to manage multiple projects at once Skills and Abilities: + Strong analytical and problem solving skills + Ability to work independently and in a team environment + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits available to you: + Exposure to hands-on experience with sales operations + Helpful mentoring from business leaders within Lumber & Building Materials and other departments + College credit About Do it Best: We’re the only US-based, member-owned hardware, lumber, and building materials co-op in the home improvement industry.
