As the Sales Operations Manager, you will play an important role on the Industrial Coatings leadership team sales operations. As an Individual contributor, you will manage operations through supporting data analysis to better understand market conditions, identify areas of opportunity, and revize sales incentives. You will be challenged with optimizing the sales process and ensuring the effectiveness of our sales team via installing standardized, repeatable processes and better leveraging our current systems and tools.

Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Generate and create reports that provide insights to sales managers and executives, helping them make informed decisions and develop effective sales strategies. Create plans for monthly and quarterly performance rollups.Forecasting: Support annual and quarterly forecasting activities aligned to committed financial plans.Lead annual targeting setting process using commercial and market intelligence to develop individual growth goals.CRM Administration: Manage the organization's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Ensure accurate and up-to-date data, and provide training and support to sales representatives on CRM usage. Territory and Quota Management: Assist in defining sales territories and assigning quotas to sales representatives. Maintain equitable distribution of accounts and quotas, monitor performance against targets, and make adjustments as necessary.Use sales statistics to determine future sales potential, inventory requirements, and customer preferences.Sales Compensation Management: Partner with the finance and HR departments to design and administer sales compensation plans. Ensure that commission structures are fair, accurate, and aligned with the organization's goals.Training: Design effective training plans supporting sales incentive training and utilization of commercial tools (e.g. PowerBI).Work effectively with cross-functional teams across many levels inside the SBU and across PPGQualifications:
Bachelor's in business, engineering, chemistry or similar; OR equivalent combination of education, training, experience, and knowledge of data analytics.5+ years combination of experience in commercial operations, B2B sales, and analysis of sales and market information.Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data and ideas into meaningful impacts.Strong computer skills, proficient with Excel, and basic data analysis tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar to visually explain the significance of the data.Travel up to 25%#LI-Hybrid
