Sales Operations Manager

COMSOL is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join the Bengaluru office. This role requires strong communication, organization, and proficiency in CRM software, as well as a good understanding of physics modeling software.

We are looking for a strong leader with a person-centric approach who will be proactive, visible in the organization and take ownership of issues and drive for solutions. The individual will have an excellent understanding and in-depth use of Sales tools, systems and processes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage relationships and ensure alignment with sales goals.

• Provide reporting, lead tracking, and pipeline management via CRM tools.

• Evaluate ongoing sales team performances.

• Assist in developing sales strategies and implementing new technologies.

Additional Responsibilities

• Overseeing and optimizing the sales process to ensure the team is efficient and effective.

• Developing and guiding the team through documented professional development.

• Identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies.

• Analyzing and researching the sales data and current trends to create sales forecasts.

• Streamlining every stage of the sales funnel, from lead generation till customers buying and using the product.

• Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing, to identify business goals and streamline processes.

• Tracking various technical and non-technical sales related issues faced by customers.

• Learning and implementing new sales processes and strategies and coordinating training of sales engineers.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor's/master’s degree in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or a physical science. Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical will be preferred.

• Demonstrated progressive relevant experience and solid understanding of sales operations.

• Require candidates to have at least five years of experience with at least two of those years in a sales operations management role.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional and international collaboration.

• Proven experience in sales operations, business analysis, or sales support management.

• Demonstrated leadership in managing and motivating teams.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
