The Sales Operations Manager, reporting to the Vice President of Sales, will play a critical role in finding opportunities and determining solutions to optimize the performance of our global Sales organization through high impact leadership, operational execution, process innovation, and stakeholder management. This person will be focused on developing and/or refining global standards, managing global processes, and providing forecasting, reporting, and analysis on the Sales process and pipeline. This role will provide data-driven insights (themes, areas of concern, etc.) along with recommendations for growth, development, and success for the global Sales organization. WHAT YOU GET TO DO • Working alongside the Vice President of Sales, you will help identify high-impact areas in our evolving sales process where you will spearhead and drive operational improvements. • Work cross-departmentally across global offices with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance • Establish and manage governance practices to ensure consistency, scalability and cost effectiveness of sales processes and tools, including data quality and completeness. • Own the tracking of operational metrics that indicate sales effectiveness and deliver consistent metric insights to the Leadership team. • Help develop and monitor the accuracy of sales reports and other data and intelligence essential to the sales organization: recommend revision to existing reports, or assist in the development of new reporting tools as needed • Identify and improve key sales and account management processes to ensure efficiency and high performance across teams that scale over time • Become expert of sales technology stack. • Own and lead projects to scale and improve our systems and processes, maximizing automation, formalizing our procedures, and introducing best practices. • Engage with sales professionals and sales leadership to get ongoing feedback on the sales process and structure and drive improvements WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 4-year college degree in Business, Operations, Economics, Finance or other quantitative disciplines and/or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, operational management, or project management.
