Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $79,400.00 - $119,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

**This position is remote/work from home. You need to reside within the Central or Eastern Time Zones.

Sales Operations Senior Analyst (CPQ) is responsible for taking CPQ features and/or user stories and working directly with Product and Key Business stakeholders to understand and document all business requirements and be able to speak to those requirements, representing the businesses from business requirement definition to final roll out. This individual is accountable to ensure IT has proper requirements, document business requirements, work with business to identify standard administration tasks (fields, picklists, etc) and understand details for sprint reviews and development questions. Also responsible for “pre work” needed before submitting a user story or feature to IT. This individual must also stay close to Support trends to ensure Product is prioritizing highest impact functionality within CPQ. Additionally, they are responsible for proof of concepts and art of the possible activities within CPQ.        

What You’ll Do 

Accountable for ensuring CPQ Product team has proper requirements 

Document business requirements along with Product, specifically Product Owners across CPQ and Product Catalog 

Partners with, and represents, Sales/PM/SBO stakeholders (IC or Director-level in most scenarios) to understand objectives, priorities, challenges and process/system issues related to contracting and quoting 

Ability to connect with business stakeholders and represent needs when gathering/presenting requirements back to Product 

Participant in Sprint reviews and Backlog Refinement 

Participate in Prioritization exercises with Stakeholders and articulate needs back to Product during Quarterly Planning 

Ensure requirements are translated properly to user stories or features 

Routinely reviews ticket/pain point trends from CPQ Support team to ensure Product backlog addresses top issues for Sales and PM CPQ users 

Partner with Product to ensure roadmap is socialized/understood by Sales/PM Leaders 

Build reports/dashboards to track key metrics associated with top issues / new CPQ functionality to measure impact to business when appropriate 

Uncover areas of opportunity to improve data and dependencies for CPQ outside of Product and the SBO 

Ensure processes are defined, if needed, and partners with process governance team to ensure all details are understood 

Reviews comms and training collateral for CPQ deployments and workarounds 

Run proofs of concept to determine future recommendations to stakeholders 

Documentation needed prior to submitting for IT discovery/requirements gathering 

Participation in BAU calls with Key Sales and PM Stakeholders 

Participation in Success Sessions to showcase recent enhancements and best practices with Sales and PM

Who You Are 

Minimum:

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 4 years of relevant experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field

3+ years of Configure/Price/Quote (CPQ) software experience or relevant systems (Billing/CLM) experience 

Experience with Salesforce.com required 

Experience with lead-to-cash processes and platforms 

High level understanding of Scaled Agile Framework 

Proven skill in change management and problem solving  

Project Methodologies: Thorough understanding of program management techniques and methods 

Build Relationships: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally 

Communicate Effectively: Good listener with outstanding interpersonal qualities and a natural, effective consultative style who can present their views in a clear and compelling manner

Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes in order to meet business requirements. 

Preferred:

Knowledge of existing Cox Automotive sales processes and systems

Working knowledge of Cox Automotive Sales and Performance Management organizations
