Sales Operations Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

Alarm.com, a fast-growing entrepreneurial technology company, is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to join its sales operations team. The Sales Operations Specialist will have a broad range of responsibilities including providing operational support to the sales team and Sales Operations Manager, analysis of data and ensuring data integrity, improving and maintaining sales support functions, processes, and policies.  The position requires exceptional organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work independently and interact with senior-level executives and directors.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Sales Operations Specialist’s primary job responsibilities include:

Manage the sales support functions, processes, and policies essential to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the Sales team. Manages key aspects of Sales’ various systems, including defining and implementing Salesforce processes and workflows, evaluating existing workflows, and identifying improvements. Executes assigned projects from start to finish, including setting priorities, defining criteria/requirements, and laterally managing key stakeholder groups to ensure the successful completion of projects. Responsible for evaluating new and existing systems/sales enablement platforms and providing recommendations to sales leadership. Collaborate with sales management to identify and target new areas for opportunity, and to coordinate sales, marketing, and support efforts. Work directly with Marketing to set priorities, provide guidance on standard presentations, sales tools and provide consistent feedback from the field to ensure all content has a unified message Assist with overall communication strategies, content, and workflows/automation for streamlined service and product launches. Create, manage, and drive success of additional projects, processes, and systems from start to finish as directed by the Sr. Manager of Sales Operations and VP of Sales Operations and Partner Growth.

EXPERIENCE:

Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy while managing multiple tasks and changing priorities. Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively and interact with senior level executives and directors. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems effectively. Demonstrates persistence in improving efficiencies and displays an innovative, growth mindset with the ability to think creatively. Team player with an extremely positive attitude and flexibility. Strong writing skills; good grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a small, fast-paced environment Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy. Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a MUST. At least 1 year of experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM platform. BA or BS
