As a Sales Ops applications support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our ERP/CRM systems to support the sales team in achieving their targets. You will work closely with sales, Sales Ops, marketing, and IT departments to ensure that our systems are fully utilized.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive applications support specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring our sales applications run smoothly and efficiently, supporting our sales team with the tools they need to succeed. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a strong customer service orientation, and a deep understanding of sales processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support: Provide day-to-day support for sales applications, addressing user issues and technical problems, and ensuring applications operate efficiently.User Training: Conduct training sessions for sales team members on application functionalities and best practices to maximize usage and efficiency.Process Improvement: Collaborate with sales and IT teams to identify, recommend, and implement improvements in sales processes and technology usage.Data Management: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of sales data within applications; support data entry and reporting processes.Documentation: Create and maintain user manuals, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures for applications used by the sales team.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with IT and other departments to resolve application issues and facilitate new system implementations or upgrades.Reporting and Analytics: Assist in generating reports and dashboards to track sales performance and provide insights on sales activities.Project Support: Participate in special projects related to sales operations, which may involve system enhancements or process redesigns.

Other Responsibilities

May be involved in other sales tools projects or support such as sales compensation, CPQ, and improving our analytic capabilities.Establishing a world-class sales support structure.Continuously looking for ways to improve our Industrial Sales efficiency via tools or processes.

Qualifications:

Proven applications support experience with preference to SAP, QAD, Microsoft Dynamics)Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with ERP & CRM software (e.g., MS Dynamics,  Salesforce, HubSpot, etc..) and sales analytics tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).Knowledge of sales processes and methodologies.Previous experience in a customer-facing support role is a plus.knowledge of HP operational processes, industry trends, and customer/partner requirements is an advantage.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.Typically, 5-10 years of related experience in IT/business operations.Quality improvement training certification is a plus.
