We are currently seeking Sr Sales Ops Specialist who can leverage their experiences to directly impact our organization's data-driven decision-making processes. You will play a key role in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights that support strategic decision-making and drive sales optimization. Your responsibilities will encompass data analysis, reporting, and the development of performance metrics.
As part of the Sales Excellence team, the Sales Ops Specialist position provides a unique opportunity for a highly talented individual to drive significant value in a world class team and offers exposure to a wide variety of people and disciplines across the organization.
This position can be located in Bangalore, NCR or Pune.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, including customer behavior, sales trends, product performance, and market dynamics. Develop and maintain complex data models to extract insights and identify patterns using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
· Utilize historical data, market research, and other factors to develop accurate analytics forecasts and projections.
· Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate sales performance, trends, and insights to stakeholders and management. Support the design and development of data visualizations, charts, and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI.
· Monitor and track sales performance against targets and objectives. Identify areas of improvement and work with sales teams to develop action plans to drive sales growth and meet or exceed targets.
· Work closely with sales teams, marketing, finance, and other departments to foster collaboration and alignment. Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, providing guidance and support to enable data-driven decision-making.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, sales techniques, and best practices in sales analysis. Seek opportunities for professional development and leverage new tools and technologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
· Overall, a sales specialist plays a critical role in driving sales growth and improving sales performance by analyzing data, providing insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective sales strategies.
YOU MUST HAVE:
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
· Proficiency in data analysis tools: Tableau, Python, SQL, Micro/ Macros Excel, Power BI, Alteryx
· Knowledge of CRM systems and familiarity with sales data sources and structures.
· Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
· 3+ years’ experience in analytics role
· 2+ years’ experience with data visualization tools (E.g. Tableau, PowerBI, CRMA)
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
