Sales Order Administrator I
Act as a primary liaison for resolving issues with internal departments and customers about equipment returns. Lead systematic improvements in the areas of informative and equipment processing to provide superior customer service. Additionally, perform normal Service Order Administrator duties. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** **Fast Lane Quotations:** Create support requests, RMA numbers, and quotes for internal and external customers. Verify Recalibration – RMA order information is accurate and complete. **Calibration Order Entry:** + Maintain updated customer information in business systems and other databases.Collect and save needed documentation to ensure compliance with Emerson record retention and documentation procedures. + Upload - enter and book orders in business systems: MMB and MSS. + Receive and review customer purchase orders. Using the Global Clean Order Standards, check that all information supplied by the customer is correct and complete to ensure the customer receives the product they need and at the time they need it. + If required, contact the customer for the information required to book orders. + Initiate proactive correspondence with customers to resolve purchase order issues or to collect missing information at while the process of order entry stage. + Handle the progress of sales orders and initiate ongoing, proactive communication with each customer. + Function as the main point of contact for any order revisions or other issues that arise that may influence + Emerson's capacity to fulfill our commitment to delivery to the customer. + Ensure that each customer receives the proactive notification of order status at designated key points of the order entry and fulfillment process. (i.e., Receipt of PO, Sales Order Acknowledgement, and Shipping Acknowledgement). + As required, coordinate with the other departments/groups, personnel, and technical subject matter authorities to have them review and validate the technical requirements of the customer’s purchase order. + Maintain proactive and ongoing communication with the repair department. + Retain ownership and coordinate resolution of any issues that may arise. (i.e., change orders, shipping delays, billing disputes, and other issues). + Proactively guide customers of any delays that may impact the factories’ ability to meet our shipment commitment and discuss potential solutions. + Perform accurate and timely (within the goal set by management) Recalibration order entry into the Oracle system to allow effective performance to meet customer requirements. + Assures all order details are accurate and in conformance with the customer needs and factory capabilities. + Assures orders are entered properly to communicate requirements to other groups. + Updates and maintains accurate order status in the Order System and Ticketing System, thorough accurate maintenance of date fields for service level and order status reporting. **Post-Calibration Steps and Others:** + Review orders for technical conformance with valid model options, manufacture/ship date, and calibration ranges. + Shares standard methodologies with team members. + Submits Reports/Accomplishes special projects as assigned. + May have to conduct Trade Compliance Screening if applying. **Who You Are:** You build the customer relationships .You use planning tools and software. You create a plan and outline for various audiences.
