Sales Principal Specialist Business IntelligenceSummary:
Sales Principal Specialist Business Intelligence is focused on generating new sales in the International Division for Amadeus industry-leading Business Intelligence data solutions: Demand360, Agency360+, and RevenueStrategy360. Our Business Intelligence solutions are a dynamic and fast-growing product suite that is changing the way hotels formulate and manage their strategies.
This goal-oriented role will work closely with Vice Presidents of Sales (VPs), Director of Sales (DOSs), Business Intelligence Engineers, Business Development Managers (BDMs), Product Management Organization and the Customer Success Organisation. They will act as a knowledgeable resource to both aid Amadeus' field sales team in closing deals as well as sell directly to prospects. They will be responsible for identifying high-value prospects, setting appointments, demonstrating Amadeus capabilities, and ultimately, closing new business.

The ideal candidate must be an effective strategic thinker, highly organized, able to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, and have a strong interest in sales and the hotel industry.
In this role you will:
Build and maintain expert-level knowledge of Amadeus Business Intelligence products from the client perspective and have the ability to demo product features to show value and drive sales.
Partner and guide sales team members and sales team leaders to enable their success by setting sales plans, formulating go-to-market strategies, and preparing materials, both actively leading and ensuring that calls are made and converted to sales.
Identify new business opportunities independently or by partnering with the field sales team, including creation and follow-through of ‘hunting lists’ of prospects for field sales and inside sales. Understand sales targets and formulate plans to ensure market-by-market achievement of goals.
Lead marketing activities with sales team engagement and partnership including, in-market Lunch and Learns, webinars, and on-site customer meetings.
About the ideal candidate:
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience within the Hospitality Industry
5+ years of Hotel Industry experience either in Business Travel Sales, Sales Leadership, or Revenue Management in Tier 1 or 2 markets
2+ years of experience with Amadeus' Business Intelligence solutions: Demand360, Agency360+, and RevenueStrategy360 preferred
Proven success with new customer acquisition in multi-hotel, multi-brand, or enterprise account business development
Works autonomously within plan provided by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presenting to large, diverse audiences
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Fluent in English and Spanish
