The Opportunity:
The Sales Production Coordinator is an account team member. You will support the Program Manager and sales team by tracking, investigating, and reporting project and program information and resolving problems.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
Manages production statuses among multiple manufacturing facilities.Communicates daily with Sales Production Manager, program managers, sales and other internal staff.Serves as contact between sales, customers, and internal departments in the absence of sales and program managers.Attends meetings as requests, coming prepared, and performing note taking or action register maintenance as requested.Leads requested meetings with proper meeting management including meeting purpose, agendas, proper attendee requests, and action registers and adherence.Develops and monitors project timelines and costs to ensure on-time delivery and anticipated profit margin.Monitors project cost and cost reporting to ensure accuracy and tracking compared to anticipated profit margin.Initiates, tracks, organizes, prioritizes, and monitors multiple projects through development, production and fulfillment.Uses creative problem solving to achieve sales and customer objectives.Resolves project and program issues by investigating data and history, identifying solutions, and notifying program managers or other internal staff.Communicates changes in project specifications and scheduling.Interprets requests for developmental and other work and communicates needs to appropriate departments.Ensures smooth project flow by continuously communicating with appropriate internal staff. Works with others in the company to research, establish and maintain production procedures and standards.Enters and maintains project data in departmental project management software. Develops, manages and distributes reporting of project and departmental metrics and reports.Prepares sales presentations by compiling data and developing presentation formats and creating materials.Assists in interaction and relationships with external resources.Assists in price proposal and product development.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.3-5 years’ experience in printing, multimedia, mass-market, or entertaining industry preferred.Power BI skills, desired, but not requiredAbility to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy.Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
