The opportunity: This role will support the sales team, manage the print packaging production workflow, and interact closely with customers. Support department by tracking, investigating, and reporting sales information and resolving problems. How you will impact Smurfit Westrock: \u2022 Manages production statuses among multiple manufacturing facilities. \u2022 Enters Creative, Design Estimating, pre-press and ink match requests. \u2022 Attend project kick off meetings with sales. Organize and distribute project detail requests to the respective departments to take action. \u2022 Creates price proposals and sends quote letter to customer. \u2022 Manages package development. \u2022 Follows up on aspects of product development. (Including Creative, Design, Estimating and Pre-Press Departments) \u2022 Manages team of employees to ensure that project tasks are in line with customer's needs Communicates daily with customers, sales and manufacturing staff \u2022 Updates managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries. \u2022 Resolves order and inventory problems by investigating data and history, identifying alternate means for filling orders, and notifying managers and customers. \u2022 Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information and answering questions. \u2022 Maintains customer database by inputting customer profiles. \u2022 Prepares and distributes monthly reports and customer specific reports as requested \u2022 Performs other job duties as assigned. What you need to succeed: \u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree preferred. \u2022 Must have strong organizational skills. \u2022 3-5 years\u2019 experience in printing, multi-media, mass-market, or entertainment industry preferred. \u2022 Must have ability to communicate effectively. \u2022 Must be proactive. \u2022 Must have excellent follow up and follow through skills. \u2022 Must have experience managing multiple projects successfully. \u2022 Must have experience entering data using a variety of computer software programs. \u2022 Must have basic proficiency using all Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. \u2022 Must have ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy. \u2022 Must have ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and clients. \u2022 Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. \u2022 Must be able to maintain good attendance. \u2022 Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
