Ferguson is currently seeking a Sales Project Manager to join our team! This position will focus on servicing and managing Houston customer projects in the Downstream Industrial Industry. Focusing on End User Plants, Industrial Contractors and Fabricators, and Capital/EPC Companies.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budgetRecommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needsIdentify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the projectEstablish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customersMonitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems and minimize delaysWork directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculationsConduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project teamResponsible for ensuring the timely delivery of supplies, materials, and equipmentProvide a high level of assistance to program/project managers to ensure projects are carried out according to planQualifications
5+ Years of Sales and Project Management experience in the Industrial Distribution Industry.Bachelor’s Degree is a plusIndustrial Pipe, Valve, and Fittings along with Engineered Specialty Products knowledge is strongly preferred.Prior industry experience specifically in the Industrial Downstream Market is strongly preferredProficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Access, etc.)Detail-orientated with a proven ability to organize and prioritize workStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to organize, prioritize, multi-task and effectively managing industrial projects Demonstrated success in problem solving and delivering resultsAt Ferguson, we care for each other. $5,175.00 - $11,275.00-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
