STERIS has several resources for our Associate Sales Representatives to set them up for success and continued development along their careers. This includes a dedicated training department, on-the-job training, and local product managers.
As the Sales Representative at STERIS, you will be responsible for increasing sales in the assigned territory and Region, including coordination and execution of clinical and service-related activities while supporting the local Sales Team. Our offering includes general and specialty surgical tables, surgical and examination lights, equipment management systems, operating room storage cabinets, warming cabinets, scrub sinks and other complementary products and accessories for use in hospitals and ambulatory surgery sites.

⦁ Responsible for the overall financial performance and Customer satisfaction in your assigned territory.
⦁ Call on a wide spectrum of call points within hospitals and integrated delivery networks, including C-suite (CEO, CFO, CMO), OR leadership, Risk Management, Materials Management, Bio-Medical, Infection Prevention Practitioners, Surgeons and nursing staff.
⦁ Ability to travel as necessary including some overnight travel
⦁ Understands and effectively presents technical literature and information of all products when needed.
⦁ Provides exceptional Customer Service by providing support with initial use of equipment/services
⦁ Acts as a liaison between Service and Sales at the time of installation.
⦁ Plays a support role in the after-sale process, including post order submittal and in-servicing to ensure Customers have a thorough knowledge of the safe use of equipment.
⦁ Develops relationships with Customers in OR, ICU (all Critical care), ED, MM, Biomed, SPD, Infection Prevention, Risk Management, Nursing staff and Surgeons/Physicians.
⦁ Coordinates all daily activities with the local Sales Team to ensure customers are always served effectively.
⦁ Participates in OR specific training on a regular basis.
1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree required
2. Minimum 2 year medical device sales experience working in the operating room with some capital equipment experience.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM)
4. Required to work non-standard hours that can vary to meet Customer needs (weekends, evening)
5. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements

Base pay for this role is 60K with on-target earnings of 130K .
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
