About Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc.
Bee Sweet Citrus is a family-owned and operated company in Fowler, California. The facility, over 406,000 square feet in size, sits on 36 total acres adjacent to CA Highway 99. Our packing facility currently has five pack lines and three bagging lines, and it can run over 3,500 bins of citrus per day. Our state-of-the-art optical graders and sizers also allow us to sort citrus with precision, and our Laser Brix system (sugar content scale) allows us to sort citrus by sweetness. With 13 weighers and 28 bagging machines, we can also bag over 32,000 bags per hour.
Bee Sweet's packing facility features 31 "degreening" rooms and a 63,000-square-foot cold storage facility, which allows our team to store over 280,000 cartons of citrus. Additionally, our shipping department ships an average of 125 trucks daily throughout the United States and overseas through export. Our 11,000-square-foot office complex is also on-site and sits adjacent to our packing facility.
Bee Sweet Citrus grows, packs, and ships approximately 10 different varieties throughout the citrus season (October – May) and supplies customers with imported citrus during the summer months. The entire sales team consists of self-motivated individuals who actively create and foster relationships with industry partners to maintain both domestic and imported business.
Job Responsibilities
+ Grow sales and profit margins continuously to meet established sales and margin goals.
+ Generate new leads, set up new customer accounts, and maintain accounts through follow-up and ensuring satisfactory products.
+ Build additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize the profitability of individual accounts.
+ Working closely with logistics and support staff to ensure excellence in customer service, contract execution, inventory management, stock ageing, rejections, debtors, and vendor payables.
+ Participate in setting pricing for sales team.
+ Have basic market knowledge of the industry in order to assist in decision making.
+ Attend several national trade shows throughout the year.
Skills and Experience
+ Minimum 7 years of B2B sales experience.
+ Professional communication and presentation skills (in person, via phone, and/or email).
+ A minimum of 5 years’ produce experience.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales and/or related degree.
+ Bilingual (in any language) is preferred but not required.
Pay Offered/Benefits
+ $175,000-$230,00 annual salary DOE
