The Opportunity:
As a Sales Representative, your role is to successfully manage existing customer accounts and establish new opportunities to achieve annual sales objectives. Additional responsibilities include efficiently managing current customer relationships, prospecting, and engaging new customers, partnering with management to complete budget planning, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure sales strategy execution.

Thoroughly understand the industry and target customers to qualify opportunities in alignment with WestRock sales strategy.Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of WestRock products and pricing structure to resolve inquiries and issues with customer accounts.Effectively articulate sales vision and strategy to identify leads on new opportunities, manage prospects and develop a robust sale pipeline.Develop and execute account strategies for new and existing customers to create a customized experience for customers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify value add opportunities to improve margins.Manage customer engagement through the sales lifecycle to ensure contractual obligations are met and to enable customer satisfaction.Seek and qualify prospective customers in accordance with Sales strategy.
What you need to succeed
2 - 3 years of experience interfacing with customers in a sales related field environmentBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred or Equivalent Industry ExperienceSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and in teams.Strategic and analytical thinker with tactical focusMust be organized with great time management to manage multiple customer relationships.Great communication and flexibility to adjust for different audiences.Business acumen, having knowledge of various areas of business.Experience with Salesforce.com or relevant softwareSafety mindset
