The Opportunity
The Sales Representative will successfully manage existing customer accounts and establish new opportunities to achieve annual sales objectives. Additional responsibilities include efficiently managing current customer relationships, prospecting and engaging new customers, partnering with management to complete budget planning, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure sales strategy execution.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
Thoroughly understand the industry and target customers to qualify opportunities in alignment with Smurfit Westrock sales strategyDevelop and maintain thorough knowledge of Smurfit Westrock products and pricing structure to resolve inquiries and issues with customer accountsEffectively articulate sales vision and strategy to identify leads on new opportunities, manage prospects and develop a robust sales pipelineDevelop and execute account strategies for new and existing customers to create a customized experience for customersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify value add opportunities to improve marginsManage customer engagement through the sales lifecycle to ensure contractual obligations are met and to enable customer satisfactionSeek and qualify prospective customers in accordance with Sales strategy
What you need to succeed:
3 years of experience interfacing with customers in a B2B field sales environment - RequiredBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field - preferredCorrugated sales or industrial sales experience strongly preferred Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in teamsStrategic and analytical thinker with tactical focusMust be organized with great time management to manage multiple customer relationshipsGreat communication and flexibility to adjust for different audiencesBusiness acumen, having knowledge of various areas of businessExperience with Salesforce.com or relevant softwareSafety mindset
