We are looking for our next Sales Representative to join our Aftermarket Industrial Solutions team located in Terrassa (Barcelona, Spain) and be responsible for Benelux region.
In this position, the selected candidate will be focused on developing and increasing aftermarket business by selling in a designated area as per a well-defined sales process and CRM usage. Therefore, the position requires skills in contacting many kinds of customers in a professional and considerate manner to develop valuable customer relationships and increase profitable sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote the sales of replacement filters, parts, and other catalog products in assigned territory via phone
- Focus on specified regions to achieve sales goals and overall customer contact
- Maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts
- Resolves customer issues/problems, researches, and makes recommendations for potential product enhancements or modifications to increase sales
- Make the standard quotes for the supported customer base.
- Follow-up by phone all open quote (standard and non-standard) requests for the supported customer base
- Follow-up all opportunities 100% (both pro-active as reactive requests)
- Independently plan and schedule sales calls to maximize personal and territory sales impact to grow their business
- Keep informed of market trends, customer preferences and competitor activity, sharing information with other personnel for better strategic placement in the marketplace
- Make written and oral presentation to customers and industry groups
- May travel to customer locations occasionally
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
- Previous experience in a sales position, preferably at least 2 years
- Language skills: Dutch and English are a must. French is highly valued
- Extrovert personality that is driven by sales
- Excellent communication and telephone contact skills (focus on making 20 calls per day)
- Having a good technical skillset to understand our products
- Good CRM knowledge and other PC skills to allow quick customer "on the spot" support
