Job Purpose

 

Location: Center-South Italy

 

Frontline Salesperson responsible for the execution of agreed sales and profitability targets established by the BU within the assigned Sales Protective area by acquiring new business and maintaining existing customer   

Key Activities

 

Manage a portfolio of customers, in a designated area, to execute sales plan.    Systematically screen customer base for new opportunities, generates leads and maintains pipeline.    Identify, plan and develop new customers in line with business development plans/target.    Provide appropriate and agreed level of contact, service and support to ensure sales target are met.    Monitor sales against agreed targets and objectives on a regular basis to ensure they are met, and where necessary, the need for remedial identified actions, reported and implemented    Plans own visit schedule in line with agreed customer service levels for that customer segment   Manage sales support activities in designated area.    Collects, report and analyzes the customer feedback / information on present as well as future market trends in the context of possible further market penetration.    Identifies, objectives and implements the approved sales strategies in the assigned marketplace.  Delivers training to customers on the use and application of the company products, equipment, and documentation both on-site at the customer’s location and within the training center.    Conducts and/or assists in the testing process as well as in the implementation of new products and technologies.    Promotes the positive company image and develops long-term relations with the customers.    Identifies business opportunities and vulnerabilities, interact with relevant functions to resolve existing or potential problems and eventually requests support from the upper management.     Delivers periodical progress reports and proactively submits recommendations regarding the improvements in the approach to the marketplace.    Key Responsibilities

 

Proactively informs the upper management about the required sales support level (including  marketing, technical, supply, logistics and control) cooperates and coordinates with all  company functions for the implementation of the defined activity.    Systematically up-dates CRM with valid, accurate and complete customer-related information   Utilizes full functionality of CRM, including pipeline maintenance, offer generation, customer  records management   Provides input for products and project forecasting / IBP for the scope of his / her account  portfolio.   Review Receivables and control Overdue payment in line with business expectations   Cooperates with technical representative in educating customers on technical requirements of available product lines, IT support tools and non-paint assortment.    Make sure to provide quality information on managed accounts by following company QA/QC  rules on pricing, margin management, sales contract and always follow authority rules.     Gets familiar with all applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedure with regards to personal conduct/HSE standards and acts in compliance with all regulations.     Job Requirements

 

Education & Experience

University-educated or specific education on college/university level   
Knowledge & Work Experience in Chemical industry, any B2B industry environment.   
7-10 years of work experience in commercial roles, sales and key account management, sales to strategic accounts
