ENVIRONMENT: A software and technology firm is looking for an excellent, customer-focused Sales Representative, well experienced in selling tech solutions to corporates, to join their team in Pretoria East, but covering larger clients country wide. In this role, you will target larger corporates methodically and offer solutions to potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of the company’s offerings. DUTIES: Identify and engage potential clients, understanding their unique needs and presenting how their software solutions fulfil those needs. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and drive revenue growth. Become a subject matter expert on their software platforms, staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and potential clients. Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition. Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications and Experience: University degree in a related field is ideal. Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in software platform sales to large corporate companies (preferably in retail). Experience/knowledge of CRM systems, ERP systems, e-commerce systems, and SAP Hybris is beneficial. Required Skills: Fluent in English and Afrikaans. Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel). Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain client relationships with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Results-oriented with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets. ATTRIBUTES: Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
