The Job's Mission 

The Trauma Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for becoming the resident Trauma expert by meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory and associated Trauma product line. This will be accomplished by representing Stryker as a leader in our industry and the marketplace by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.

As a result of building and maintaining strong business relationships and developing and implementing sales strategies, you will increase results throughout the territory. The candidate will be responsible for communicating with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics including product updates, changes to product portfolio and educational programs.

Key Activities & Accountabilities  

Driving growth in the territory through active constant customer engagementCustomer selection, targeted sales approachPlan and execute on a quarterly and annual business plan, this will be showing management of existing revenue streams and customers, and driving acquisition across the territory generating growth.Control all resources and materials in his/her territory (demo kit)Customer care for physicians, surgical/theatre staff and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultationEnsuring products are sold and revenue gains are established within the limits of in-house guidelines, Achieving the sales and margin targets for the territoryManaging contracts and pricing agreements in the territory, working with RSM and PM to ensure this is within the desired company bands. Representing Stryker to all levels of HCP, commissioners and managers in their territoryIn-theatre support where requiredCompleting quotes / reporting as and when requiredSupport in-person customer experience of our products through coverage of exhibits, trade shows and educational labsContinues to support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company’s policies and proceduresRemains current on industry, customer, and competitive trendsActs in a consultancy capacity with other Stryker departmentsPromoting and disseminating the culture of compliance (compliance with regulations and ethical behavior).Fulfill the quality policy and comply with company’s standard operative procedures with particular attention to the Vigilance ones

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering, Administration, Sales or Marketing or related experience in a medical, scientific field or technical careerFrom 4 years of experience in a Sales, Marketing or Technical role in the Medical Devices or Healthcare industryMinimum 3 year of experience working in the operating room

Preferred:

Experience in the Trauma, Spine or Orthopedic sector is strongly preferredExperience in Sales is strongly preferredSolid knowledge of the healthcare systemNative Italian speaker with advanced level of EnglishExperience in multinational company will be idealAdvanced competences with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
