Sales & Service Engineer

Job Description:

Responsible for direct Sales & Indirect sales of Nelson Stud welding Systems and Shear connectors.This position will report to National Sales Manager- India.Forecasting sales targets & striving to achieve business goals.Enquiry generation, Proposal submission, Negotiation and order finalizationResponsible for direct Sales of Nelson Stud welding Systems and Fasteners in Industrial and Construction Segments.Preparation, submission & presentation on techno-commercial bid as per tender specification or as per customer specific requirements.Initial discussion with customer & understanding of customer specific technical requirements, budget & production volumes for preparation of budget offer & running cost calculationsForecasting of sales targets & striving to achieve business goals.Sales development, relation with top key clients & coordination of customer services via service team.Enquiry generation, Proposal submission, Negotiation and order finalization. Liaison with factory and H.O. for various technical requirement of the customer.This position will report to National Manager Automation Business - Kolkata & Pan India Manager cutting systems.Having Good Knowledge of cutting application, welding application, tool room activities, fabrication, erection & commissioning, cutting & Fabrication costs, pipe fabrication, Pneumatic Drives & automation, Actuators, Sensors, Timers, Solenoids, DC/AC drives, Servo Drives, encoder motors etc.

Outline of Main Duties/Accountabilities:

Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales target.Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accountsRFQ Study, Techno Commercial Offer Submission, Negotiate and close agreements with customers Requirement.Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.Liaising with and working alongside sales and Service engineers.Offering customer training.Offering feedback on future product development, features and functionsHelp and assist the BU head to make budget and strategic plan for the Equipment business based on business plan, prepare sales strategy for Spares Business in the market and ensure attainment of sales targets and profitability. (Covering PAN INDIA)Prepare action plan for direct reports for effectively servicing customers and leads.Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunitiesImplement action plan for penetration into new markets with Demo/Trails/technical Presentations.Ensure inventory is within permissible limits for Spares.Ensure that the sales personnel is effectively trained for and is competent to handle the demands of the customerMonitor Service Team to meet the service standards met at all times and assist them to resolve the Customer Complaints and issues.Keep a tab on competitor activities and ensure that the management is kept informed about any major happenings in the market place.Build and update  Potential customer database-machine configurations and systems Installed-Build reputation of Stanley Engineered Fastening as solution provider for relevant customer requirementsResponsible for collection of payment and relevant documentation from customer base

Skills and Formal Training Requirements/Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Mechatronics), Experience in Sales & Service responsibilities of Welding equipments , Shear connectors Preferably in Industrial, Construction and Infrastructure segment..Experience: 5 to 8 years in After Sales, Service Support.Essentials: Understanding of Industrial Fasteners Business is must.Excellent leadership and communications skills, both written and verbalShould be self-motivated and ready to take new assignments/opportunities.Must travel extensively within India.Is able to develop new sales strategies based upon prior experience.Is proactive and anticipates potential problems before they can hinder a company’s success.Possesses good customer service skills
