Sales Specialist, Analytics

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an Analytics Sales Specialist to help customer unify their data assets and deliver solutions to achieve the customers objectives. In this role, you will partner closely with the AWS sales teams, including account teams, solution architects, customer success, partners, demand generation, marketing, and more, to pursue sales opportunities for AWS. You will work directly with key customers, developing the necessary executive and technical relationships to advise them on a modern data strategy, and set customer on a path to realize their business vision leveraging data. You will create scalable sales plays and programs that simplify and synthesize our key messages, and equip the broad ecosystem of AWS customer facing teams to amplify. As our commitment to improvement, you will pursue customer feedback to instruct the roadmap of our analytics portfolio. Enjoy working with Enterprise customers? The role of an Analytics Sales Specialist requires someone who simultaneously acts as a market maker, operator, and general manager for their own customer accounts. With a focus on customer outcomes, they must work to win new customers, grow existing customers, secure lighthouse customers, drive revenue for new services, and develop strategic partnerships. Key job responsibilities Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will posses both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement at the CXO level as well as with data engineers and IT architects. The candidate should be a self starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. Expect moderate travel. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 5+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience - Experience in technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services Preferred Qualifications - Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software - Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS - Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
