Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for driving ABB's digital sales strategy within your assigned US region, enhancing market penetration, and achieving growth objectives. You will execute digital sales strategy and initiatives within the assigned scope to achieve both qualitative and quantitative digital sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. By leveraging your expertise, you will contribute to expanding ABB’s digital customer base and delivering exceptional value. A key focus will be on building long lasting customer relationships and addressing customers’ specific needs and challenges. This position is ideal for someone passionate about digital transformation and customer engagement, with a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive, evolving market.The work model for the role is: RemoteThis role is contributing to the Pulp & Paper Business Line within the Process Automation Process Industries division.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPromoting and selling digital solutions to existing and prospective Pulp & Paper customers within your assigned sales region.•\tBuilding and maintaining effective customer relationships (including customers’ Digital stakeholders) to understand their needs and align ABB’s offerings to provide tailored solutions.•\tCollaborating with Account Managers to identify opportunities within shared accounts, align on sales strategies, and drive cohesive customer engagement.•\tWorking with the Digital proposal teams to develop proposals covering relevant technical, commercial, and legal requirements specific to customer needs.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.This position reports to Pulp & Paper Regional Sales Manager
Qualifications for the role\tEducation and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience required or Associate degree and 10 years of related experience required or HS Diploma and 12 years of related experience required. \tExperience selling in the industrial software environment (MES, industrial automation/advanced software/cyber security) preferred.\tBackground and experience in the Pulp & Paper industry are highly desirable.\tFluency in English, both written and spoken.\tProven track record in customer focus, exposure to customer top management, consultative selling, driving results and turning opportunities into sales successes.\tProven experience in driving digital development for complex global organizations, preferably in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation).\tAvailability to travel in region to support assigned accounts as required. (60% to 70% travel expected.)\tCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
