PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Sales Support Admin (SSA) provides administrative assistance for a remote sales organization in order to offer our sales professionals more time in front of customers. The Sales Support Admin is the first point of contact for members of the sales organization and is responsible for the support for large and small team and customer events and meetings. The SSA is a team player and active learner who adapts to change and consistently finds ways to eliminate waste in processes across the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Competitive Outcomes for OC and the Customer
Coordinate and administer a high volume of sales team meetings, contractor events, trade shows, customer events, conference calls and plant tours Sales Area or Regional Meetings – internal team meetings that require meeting space identification and reservation, food and beverage ordering, and organization of team events Customer events – select location, manage communications, flyer and registration process, and ordering of food and beverage Trade Shows – (For small to medium Trade Shows) all scheduling and coordination for booth, marketing materials, and coordination with attendees and vendor. Contractor Events, Conference Calls, Plant Tours – Coordinate transportation, lodging and meals Possible support coverage of customer visits to WHQ, and National 2 Steps events
Service our Sales Team
Coordinate the interview, on-boarding, transfer, and exit process for sales team members Communicate and order promotional items, business cards, and other marketing related needs Assist sales team with customized requests for graphics, print jobs (local marketing) Educate and assist sales team with questions while navigating OC systems and software (i.e. Concur) Provide monthly customer scorecards, open order reports and adhoc sales reports as requested Provide pricing reports as requested Investigate budget and policy related questions as needed Reconcile meeting and procurement card regional expenses in accordance with company policy Maintain regional customer list Manage regional membership dues and seasonal tickets Promo tracking for credits issued through pricing Research and escalate questions pertaining to toolbox orders and literature/sample availability Work with RSLs to submit territory change requests. Coordinate and assist with travel arrangements as needed Additional duties as needed, dependent upon area supported.
Eliminate waste from the sales organization
Eliminate waste through process improvement and operating efficiency Identify opportunities to develop, maintain and execute standard practices Educate sales team on available tools Participating in on-going team meetings to leverage best practices from sales support across the company

JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Prior experience in coordinating the planning and execution of events and tradeshows Prior experience managing priorities and multi-tasking Prior experience administrative support in a professional setting Prior support of field sales or remote workforce in administrative capacity Works with a service mindset in order to proactively provide support and solutions to the sales organization
EXPERIENCE:
Experience working in a large matrix organization Demonstrates prior experience working independently and in teams Experience working a sales organization and its daily operations Experience in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment Experience in problem solving and identifying solutions in the best interest of the company and the customer Ability to identify, act on, and lead continuous change management improvement efforts Knowledge of SAP
