A DAY IN THE LIFE of a Sales Support Analyst

The Auto Club Group is seeking a prospective Sales Support Analyst II assisting field sales management in the facilitation/resolution of problems, providing business line analysis and supporting data needs.  You will be challenged to drive new business with competitive products and help retain The Auto Club Groups 14+ million members.

Maintains an electronic repository of agent information Provides oversight to support functions regarding Independent Agent (IA) and acts as a consultant to field sales management and agents regarding policies/procedures that impact agentProvides training to sales management and agents regarding rules and business procedures and responds to agent and management inquiresDevelops and maintains consistent procedures for use in assigned Auto Club Group market (Independent Agent/Independent Travel Agent/Sales Agent) regarding a variety of support functions that may include:Agent installation and terminationDeveloping recommendations for improved methods for tracking and reporting agent information

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO

Required Qualifications:

Education

College level coursework in Business, Systems or related field

Work experience

Identifying, researching and resolving business and service related problemsSales, customer service, travel or business environmentSoftware applications (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PeopleSoft, Callidus)Decision makingAnalyzing and problem solvingOrganizing, planning, controlling and scheduling projectsBasic mathematics including evaluating statistical data and reconciliation of numbers

Successful candidates will possess: 

Knowledge of:

Sales analysis and reporting techniquesAnalyzing statistical dataSales functions in regard to various agent typesCustomer service/helpdesk supportCommunicating effectively with others in a work environment and with the publicPlanning, organizing and training others on system enhancementsWorking independentlyWorking under pressure to complete assignmentsWritten communications skills to include preparation of proposals, reports and technical writing. (a writing sample may be required at time of interview).
