Sales Support Associate (Spain)

As a Sales Support Associate at IDEXX, you will provide support to the sales team in your region and act as a liaison between the sales professionals and internal departments. You play a vital role in the overall health and advancement of the region’s objectives. You will make sure all the checks and balances are in place in the lead-to-order process, provide transactional support to ensure successful and efficient execution of business transactions, and generate smooth on-boarding for our customers.

In this role, your day-to-day will include:

Partner with commercial ecosystem on sales proposals while balancing the needs of the customer and the business. Investigate and resolve inquiries or concerns. Escalate situations that are unique and unable to be resolved through current processes. Proactively identify opportunities to positively enhance our service offering.Understand the organizational structure, customer agreement lifecycle, products, services, marketing programs and pricing. Demonstrate resourcefulness. Know where to locate and follow policies, procedures, and program guides.Gain trust and confidence with members of the commercial ecosystem through honesty, integrity, and authenticity. Drive results and meet service level agreements by prioritizing and planning work to ensure tasks are completed on time.Contribute to customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention by partnering with members of the commercial ecosystem to develop creative solutions that meet the customer’s needs.Using SalesForce.com to approve the setup of new SAP accountsSupporting the achievement of revenue, gross margin and operating expenses as per targetEnsuring the sales team adheres to pricing policies, submits paperwork correctly and follows the correct audit guidelinesDaily reporting of the number of instruments sold, installations and pipeline for internal useParticipation in projects to implement initiatives; identification of project opportunities and generation of ideas and solutionsCommunicating with related areas to coordinate workPotentially leading work activities of others, coordinating daily activities and providing training, coaching and guidancePartner with commercial ecosystem on sales proposals and developing solutions that meet the customer’s needsInvestigate and resolve inquiriesIdentify opportunities to improve service offeringPersonal development

What you will need to succeed:

You’ll often use your own initiative to drive tasks and targetsYour skill set includes being analytical, with a high level of experience in Excel & preferably SalesForce.com and Business ObjectsProject management skills and abilities, with ability to work in cross-functional teams in a matrix environmentYou’ll have a keen eye for detail & love to work with data, so you have experience in data gatheringProcess improvement skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills.You’ll love to collaborate, communicate and work with a range of different stakeholders across the organization.*It’s essential you speak fluent Business English and fluent Spanish Presentation skills: ability to present and explain business requirements to all audiencesInfluencing skills to gain commitment and support for decisions and to motivate the organization to support business changesPrioritize and plan work to be completed on time.
