Sales Support Representative
Description This is a customer support/sales support position that will be teamed up with an account manager for an international tennis equipment company. This role will partner very closely with that sales rep to input orders, check inventory, etc. They will also need to be able to support call in orders and deal with both happy and unhappy customers. There are no sales components to this role, it is an administrative role supporting the sales team. Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: · Provide all customers with excellent customer service. · Partner with outside sales representatives to provide account in-office support. · Answer customer calls and assist customers with orders, questions, and warranty claims. Ensure a high level of product expertise and brand knowledge. · Build and maintain customer relationships. · Perform customer order entry. · Monitor customer credit risk. If a customer is high-risk, notify the credit department before entering a new order. · Evaluate and process all manufacturer defect and six-month outsole warranty claims. · Inform manager of any new or unusual defects in products. · Communicate with and support all departments. · Collaborate with other sales support representatives to ensure the efficiency of the department. · Collaborate with all other department representatives to ensure the efficiency of the company. · Process customer sales credits, returns, and maintain approval records. · Authorize credit card payments for appropriate customers. M-F 8am-5pm Fully on-site Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree or 1+ years of experience in an administrative role in a professional office environment required. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, outlook, teams, word) Prior experience in the sports industry, especially experience with tennis/pickleball/padel, is preferred but not required. Experience with a CRM or ERP software highly preferred. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
