Performance-based rewards.The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sales processes. This position is responsible for the coordination of lead management, maintaining and updating the sales database, providing comprehensive sales support, offering administrative assistance, and managing project coordination. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Management:
Order entry into Epicor for all new equipment. Send new equipment order specs to Applications for budgeting. Send new equipment order specs to Engineering and Production for scheduling. Provide regular updates to internal and external customers during the order process. Communicate with customers on updates with production date changes. Manage change orders, pricing, and order write-up during life of order.Project Coordination
Database Management:
Maintains the distributor database within Epicor, Salesforce, and Website Admin Tool.Lead Program:
Handle incoming leads (phone, web, tradeshows, etc.). Speak to potential customers by phone and/or email to better qualify the lead and to determine project details.Manage customer expectations.
Serve as primary interface with the customers, sales, engineering, and operations to resolve issues.
Support sales with customer visits and presentations.
Work with Planning and Scheduling to provide Lead Times for quoted projects to Sales Professionals.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Administration preferred MS Office – Excel and Word Experience with ERP and Salesforce highly desired Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred not required.
