Sales Tax SALT Manager

Overview

The Bonadio Group is looking for a Sales Tax Manager to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) Practice. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to focus primarily on U.S. indirect matters with an emphasis on sales tax. Responsibilities

Manage all phases of sales and use tax services, including consulting, compliance, sales tax audits.Manage sales tax projects including nexus studies, voluntary disclosures, taxability analysis and other SALT projects.Research, draft and review sales tax memos.Advise client on an array of tax issues.Assist with tax due diligence reports.Provide insight on other exposure areas including gross receipts tax and personal property taxesManage, mentor, and develop staff inclusive of oversight on client engagements and providing evaluative feedback

Qualifications
 

Required:

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accountingCPA or EA certificationA minimum of five years of relevant CPA firm experience; Sales Tax/State and Local Tax or relatedExtensive knowledge of state and local tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirementsProficiency with tax software, tax research tools, Microsoft Office Suite including Teams and OutlookAbility and willingness to travel as required


The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 and is commensurate with experience.


Hours Of Operation:

Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through FridayOur summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday  We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
