Sales Team Manager

Thermo King Transportkoeling supplies, install, maintain and repair Thermo King Transport Refrigeration units, Thermo King Bus Air Conditioner units, Thermo King Refrigeration Container units, Thermo King Gensets, Thermo King Rail Air Conditioner units and Thermo King Battery Pack equipment and solutions.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide leadership for the marketing and sales process via the development and implementation of coordinated local marketing and sales plans, consumer programs, training, and business development activity. To drive the growth and profitability of the Transport Equipment & Service business throughout the Netherlands by developing new business and retaining and increasing business from current clients. To plan and carry out direct sales activities, to maintain and develop relationships and sales of Transport Equipment & Service business in the Refrigerated Transport Industry, in accordance with agreed business plans and budgets.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

Drive Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Transport Equipment & Service industry, to drive the growth and profitability of Thermo King Transportkoeling BV throughout the Netherlands by developing new business and retaining and increasing business from current clients. Manage Strategic Deals: Engage in high-stakes negotiations and manage executive relationships to close complex, high-value deals. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the management team, and other internal teams to align strategies and achieve company objectives. Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's goals, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and drive success. Represent the Company: Act as a thought leader and represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance the brand's presence and influence on the national level.

 

Who You Are:

Industry Expertise: Experience in the Transport Equipment & Service or similar industry with a robust network within the refrigerated transport industry. Enterprise Sales Experience: Proven track record in industry B2B sales, with experience managing short and long sales cycles and closing high-value deals. Business Development Acumen: Strong ability to identify and develop new business opportunities, with a consultative sales approach. Networking and Presentation Skills: Exceptional networking abilities and presentation skills, with a proven track record of maintaining relationships with key industry players as well as small local companies and workshops. Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Data-driven, strategic thinker with a commercially driven attitude and the ability to navigate complex sales environments. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to work across different offices, roles, and cultures in a entrepreneurial environment. Technical Understanding: Familiarity with Refrigerated Transport Industry and able to engage effectively with key stakeholders to drive business growth and innovation.

 Qualifications:

Strong track record in sales management with a minimum of 4/5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in a similar industry. Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Goal-oriented, productive, customer-focused, business acumen, quality-conscious, cost-conscious, organizationally strong, professional, reliable, willingness to travel. Entrepreneurial and leadership competencies such as visionary leadership, change management, strategic thinking, innovation, adaptability, teamwork, and motivation. Proven ability to meet or exceed quota targets on enterprise deals. Proficiency in English
