The Sales & Technical Manager, Geotextiles at Saint-Gobain ADFORS is responsible for overseeing all geotextile sales activities in North & Central America. This role involves establishing a comprehensive sales strategy, providing technical support, and identifying new business opportunities. This position involves new and incremental sales management and development for ADFORS GlasGrid, GlasPave and American Road Patch product lines. The manager is also tasked with leading new product ideation and assisting with job site installations. Building and maintaining relationships with federal, state, and city DOT departments, distributors, installers, civil engineers and Tensar Corporation personnel is a crucial part of the job.

The technical component of the job includes managing and supervising field installations and providing technical support for geotextile products. The manager supports commercial and quality functions in resolving customer complaints and follows through with corrective actions. They also assist in the preparation of marketing literature, including case studies and technical presentations. You will be responsible for the development of expertise in the product performance to better demonstrate our interlayer products value proposition. Conducting research in conjunction with the R&D team, including product testing and creating product position and defense bulletins, is another important aspect of the role. Conducting market research to understand trends and drive innovation in product and installation methods is also a key responsibility.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required. Minimum 7+ years of work-related skill and experience. Must be sales and service oriented and possess strong organizational skills, be thorough, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The candidate must have a valid driver’s license for business travel up to 50% of the time and have the ability to travel domestically and internationally to Canada and Central America.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $89,500 to $138,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on individual performance measures, with a maximum payout of 30%. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $102,900-TTC to $159,200-TTC. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
