Heidelberg Materials North America, previously known as Lehigh Hanson, operates more than 450 locations with approximately 9,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada. **What you’ll get to do** **Are you looking for a long-term position with a stable company?** As a Sales Trainee, you’ll complete a defined training program tailored to prepare the successful candidate for future roles in material sales within Pavilion, NY. In addition to sales, the program will expose the candidate to a broad range of functions within the business including operations and numerous other support departments. Some of the things the successful candidate will focus on in the program are as follows: + Strong focus on the sales side of the business including the sales processes, orders, logistics, billing, etc. + Involvement in the operational side of the business including exposure to mining, processing, quality control, and shipping. + A solid understanding of the support departments including the functions that they perform and how they support the business. These include CCM, finance, and legal. + Complete various projects as assigned during the training program. Projects may be operational, sales or business development related.
