Pleasant Holidays is a subsidiary of the Automobile Club of Southern California, a diversified insurance, roadside assistance, financial services and travel organization serving AAA Members for more than 100 years.

Summary:

The Sales Training Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing all sales training activities for Pleasant Holidays and the sales team. This includes overseeing Pleasant Pro Academy, TRACK, and ELITE training programs, developing training programs for Business Development Managers (BDMs) and agents, and managing in-field training. The Specialist will collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to align training initiatives with business objectives, including marketing partnerships, product launches, and sales goals. A key responsibility will be scheduling and moderating supplier co-op webinars.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Training Programs: Oversee Pleasant Pro Academy, TRACK, and ELITE training programs to ensure they meet the needs of the sales team.

Develop Training Content: Create and implement training programs for BDMs and agents, focusing on skill development and product knowledge.

In-Field Training: Conduct and oversee in-field training sessions to support the sales team in real-world scenarios.

Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to gather partner information and ensure training aligns with business objectives.

Webinar Management: Schedule and moderate supplier co-op webinars, ensuring they are informative and engaging.

Monitor and Evaluate: Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales training or a related field.

Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in using training software and tools.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the travel or hospitality industry.

Familiarity with Pleasant Holidays’ products and services.

Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8-hour workday

Location: Westlake Village, CA, will consider remote

Starting pay range for this position is $24.00 – $25.00 per hour.
