The primary responsibility of the Salesforce Administrator is to ensure the ongoing day-to-day maintenance for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud applications. S/he will serve as the primary platform resource for out-of-the-box configuration and for any Level 3 escalated system issues. S/he will be expected to lead by example and enable and empower the team to effectively improve the platform through declarative development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Creating and maintaining business automations for internal stakeholder needs and requirements.Maintaining user roles, security, profiles, flows, assignment rules, etc.Documenting changes to the design and implementation of Salesforce; collaborating with the Salesforce team and partners to plan and execute changes.Collaborates with Sales and Services stakeholders to capture business requirements related to the Salesforce platform.Alignment to an Agile (Scrum) methodology used by the team in Azure DevOps.Participation in Agile ceremonies such as Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Retros with positive intent!

Skills:

Expertise with Salesforce Flow Builder for declarative development on the platform.Understanding of Salesforce User Security concepts such as profiles, permission sets, permission set groups, roles, sharing rules, and OWDs.A combination of strong technical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.Balance between development work and engaging with stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Be comfortable having that ‘difficult conversation’ with a stakeholder or team member when required.Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of Scrum methodology.Ability to be a self-starter, largely independent with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.Collaborate with Salesforce Product Owner on requirements and designs as needed / for final approval.Experience with duplicate management, data cleanup tools and methodologies.Proactive in maintaining the health of Salesforce environments and knows how to stay ahead of releases and adhere to best practices.Bonus, if exposure to other platform capabilities such as DevOps, Apex, or LWC’s but not required!

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years prior experience requiredMinimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related fieldSalesforce Administrator certification requiredPlus, for following certifications but not required –Salesforce Advanced AdministratorSalesforce Platform App BuilderSalesforce Business Analyst
