Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Architect

Deloitte Digital offers services that enable client solutions using digital technologies, including the Web, Mobile, Social Networking, Digital Strategy, Digital Content and Digital ERP. The Digital Web team works with clients to advise, design, implement and deploy eCommerce and Portal solutions. 

Our eCommerce capabilities provide transactional solutions related to online marketing, sales and service; for both Direct-To-Consumer and Business-to-Business. Our Portal capabilities provide intranet and internet solutions focused on content presentment and transaction capabilities for both internal enterprise as well as customer facing purposes.

Work you’ll do

You will be using your digital expertise to Lead/support technical teams to architect, build, create, and deploy unique eCommerce solutions for each client. You’ll help clients define their eCommerce requirements by leading and facilitating working sessions to gain an understanding of the client’s current state processes and technology in the eCommerce space as well as supporting the implementation that follows

Lead project discovery workshops, both on-site and remotelyAct in a leadership role on client projects and for junior staff.Identify client process pain points and gaps in best practicesUnderstand CloudCraze architecture (Service Layers, Logic Layers, Data Layers), data models, customizations & extensions and recommend best practicesCommunicate platform capabilities and limitations to clients effectivelyUnderstand and follow established Salesforce / CloudCraze development standards and best practicesDevelop integrations for Salesforce-based applications and improvements

The Team

Our Advertising, Marketing & Commerce team focuses on delivering marketing and growth objectives aligned with our clients’ brand values for measurable business growth. We do this by creating content, communications, and experiences that engage and inspire their customers to act. We implement and operate the technology platforms that enable personalized content, commerce and marketing user-centric experiences. In doing so, we transform our clients’ marketing and engagement operations into modern, data-driven, creatively focused organizations. Our team brings deep experience in creative and digital marketing capabilities, many from our Digital Studios.

We serve our clients through the following types of work:

Cross-channel customer engagement strategy, design, and development to include the creation of omni-channel digital experiences across web, mobile, social, physical, AR/VR, voice, gesture, IoT, and videoeCommerce strategy, implementation, and operationsMarketing Content and digital asset management solutionsMarketing Technology and Advertising Technology solutionsMarketing analytics implementation and operationsAdvertising campaign ideation, development, and executionAcquisition and engagement campaign ideation, development, and executionAgile based, design-thinking, user-centric, empirical projects that accelerate results

Qualifications:

Required

5+ years of IT experience2+ years Salesforce.com Development experience / Salesforce.com Developer Course 401 (or equivalent)2+ years of experience with SalesForce B2B Commerce Cloud Solution (Cloud Craze)Ability to travel 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred 

Hands on CloudCraze development experience and system administrationIn Depth understanding of CloudCraze architecture, data models, customizations & extensionsWell versed with Salesforce security model and CommunitiesExtensive experience to develop integrated execution plans including resources leveling, effort estimations, cross-team dependenciesExperience implementing large scale eCommerce solutions including enterprise architecture, ERP integration, robust services layer, payment providers, etc.Strong knowledge of designing Architecture Diagrams and Data flowsKnowledge of End to End Order Management lifecycleExperience with RESTful Service ArchitectureEvaluation and selection of appropriate software / hardware based on technical needCapable of recommending best practice solutions based on project and business needs and owning overall design of the technical applicationOversee assigned programs (i.e. conduct code reviews) and guide team membersExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to tailor messaging to audienceStrong problem-solving skillsSalesforce Certifications are a plusExperience with the Agile methodologyKnowledge and awareness of leading ESB & ETL applications such as Mulesoft, InformaticaInformation for applicants with a need for accommodation: https://www2.deloitte.com/us/en/pages/careers/articles/join-deloitte-assistance-for-disabled-applicants.html

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,175 to $218,625.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
