**Summary** **:**
The Salesforce Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions within Salesforce. The role involves translating business needs into functional specifications, ensuring Salesforce configurations align with the organization's objectives, and supporting the optimization and enhancement of Salesforce systems.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, in-depth Salesforce knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes and ensure seamless integration within the Salesforce platform.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, understanding their business needs and objectives within the utilities industry.
+ Collaborate with clients to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Salesforce.
+ Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable and effective Salesforce solutions, with focus on Sales Cloud.
+ Analyze and map existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending Salesforce-based solutions aligned with industry best practices.
+ Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with client leadership, ensuring clear communication of project goals and deliverables.
+ Develop functional specifications, process flows, and user stories to guide the development and configuration of Salesforce solutions.
+ Assist in the creation and execution of test plans to ensure the implemented solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
+ Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring successful adoption and utilization of Salesforce solutions.
+ Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the Salesforce environment.
+ Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and troubleshoot issues.
**Must Have skills:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
+ Expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and automation tools like Flow and Process Builder.Salesforce implementation experience across the whole Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
+ Familiarity with utilities industry processes and the ability to tailor Salesforce solutions to meet industry-specific needs.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
+ Strong business analysis skills, including requirement gathering and process mapping.
+ Experience with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and data management (Data Loader).
+ Solid understanding of Salesforce testing, UAT, and issue resolution.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
**Nice to have skills:**
+ Effective stakeholder management abilities.
+ Excellent knowledge of Scrum, Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and technology such as Jira and Confluence.
+ Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
+ Knowledge of third-party Salesforce integrations (APIs, middleware tools).
+ Strong data analysis and advanced reporting skills.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field; Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Admin, App Builder, Business Analyst) are a plus.
+ 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
